プンクトゥム・タイムズ第18号は、イタリア・ミラノ在住の現代美術作家・廣瀬智央氏の『Metamorphosis』（メタモーフォシス）をお届けします。
2013年10月23日より8/ ART GALLERY/ Tomio Koyama Galleryにて開催されるソロ・エキシビション「ケルビーノ」展に合わせての発行となります。
廣瀬氏は1963年東京都生まれ。現在ミラノと東京を拠点にして世界的に活動しています。
今回のプンクトゥム・タイムズでは廣瀬氏の写真作品の代表作である空のシリーズと、最新の写真作品である夜のシリーズをコンバインして１冊にまとめました。長年撮り続けられている空の写真と、夢で見る記憶の一場面のような夜のシリーズが織りなす静謐で不思議な浮遊感のある写真集となっているかと思います。

「万物の変貌」　廣瀬智央

すべては常に不確かで、すべては絶え間なく動いている。
空は常に宙吊りに、仮の状態に置かれているように見える。
なんら尊大さもなく、むしろ崇高で詩的な印象をあたえる軽やかさとはかなさをまとっている。
そこでは日常の境界が超越され、創造的な味わいに近づく。
とりわけ、無限に時間が経ていく感覚、空間が遠心的に加速する感覚、内と外、閉じた状態と開けた状態との間の浸透がある。
われわれの通常の知覚が真実とフィクション、現実とイメージのものとの境界にある世界、天使のような位置に根本的に変えられ置かれる。

The latest issue of the PUNCTUM TIMES is Satoshi Hirose’s “Metamorphosis.” Hirose (b.1963) is a contemporary artist based in Milan, Italy and Tokyo, Japan. This issue will be published just in time for his solo exhibition at 8/ ART GALLERY/ Tomio Koyama Gallery from October 23 in Tokyo. In “Metamorphosis” his photographic works “Sky series” and “Night series” are combined together. He has been taking “Sky series” photographs for a long time. “Metamorphosis of all things”

Everything is constantly indefinite, and everything is continuously moving.
The sky always seems to be placed in a temporary state, in limbo.
It does not have any arrogance; rather, it wears a lightness and transience that are poetic and give us the impression of grandeur.
There, the ordinary boundary is surpassed, coming closer to a creative meaning.
It further has the sensation of time infinitely passing, and the sensation of space accelerating centrifugally, penetrating in between everything, such as the internal and external, and the closed condition and open condition.
Our conventional perception is fundamentally changed and placed in the world existing in the boundary between truth and fiction, between reality and image, like the position of the angel.
